Dental care is one of those things I’m always trying to stay on top of for my dogs, but brushing every day doesn’t always happen. So, I’m always on the lookout for chews that actually make a difference, and my dogs won’t just gulp down in five seconds.
These dental sticks are one of the better natural dental chews I’ve tried with my dogs. What drew me to these treats was that they have ground oyster shells in them and it gives them a gritty texture that aids in cleaning teeth. The texture is firm enough to help scrape away plaque, but not too hard for my dogs to chew comfortably. I like the fact that the ingredients are natural and easy to recognize with no weird additives or fillers.
A bonus is that they don’t have that strong or funky smell a lot of dental treats have. There’s no off-putting odor when you open the bag, which is a big win for me!
