DR. POL’S PRACTICAL APPROACH
My Veterinarian Inspired Extraordinary Extruded Recipes are based upon the animal nutrition experience I’ve gained over the course of my 45+ year career. Ultimately learning when it comes to animals, simple is the best way to support a long, happy life. These extruded diets are wholesome blends gently cooked into unique shapes that help improve food intake and digestion. These diets will feed great, nourish your animal from the inside out and have them licking the feeder for more. You’ll be amazed at the results!

  • Dr. Pol goat feed is extruded to help solve common frustrations to traditional pelleted feeds and help reduce sorting for “favorite” foods in mixed rations
  • Extruded feeds are gently cooked into easy-to-eat shapes and have little, to no, waste unlike traditional feeds which means you’ll save money
  • Lighter by weight, equal by volume: 40 Lbs. of extruded feed provides an equal number of feedings as 50 Lbs. of pellets
  • Complete feed with added vitamins and minerals can be fed as a sole ration or to help reduce potential for parasitism when fed from clean sanitary feeders by reducing the need for pasture feeding plus it’s supplemented with diatomaceous earth
  • Alfalfa first recipe provides and outstanding diet for goats, especially those producing milk
  • Added prebiotics and B vitamins to support positive digestive function plus ammonium chloride to aid prevention of stones in a goats urinary tract

Dr. Pol’s™ Healthy Goat Alfalfa Recipe – Feed may be fed to growing and breeding goats as a complete feed or as a supplement with high quality hay and/or pasture. Kids that have not been fed high-energy grain rations must be gradually adapted from forage to this feed. Feed Dr. Pol’s™ Healthy Goat Alfalfa Recipe to goats that have been vaccinated for enterotoxemia. Provide access to salt and fresh, clean water at all times.
Growing Kids: Feed at the rate of 1% body weight per head per day and gradually increase to 3% body weight over the course of 3 weeks. Provide free-choice high quality forage until kids come onto feed, and then slowly reduce forage intake.
Breeding/Lactating Goats: Feed at the rate 1 to 3 pounds per head per day. Feed as the sole ration with limited forage
