New Year's Doggie-Friendly "Barkmosas" 🥂🐶

Who says celebrations are just for humans? 🐾

Whether you’re hosting a brunch, celebrating a birthday, or just want to spoil your best furry friend, doggie mimosas (aka “barkmosas” or “mutt-mosas”) are a fun, non-alcoholic way to include your pup in the party.

These mocktails are made with dog-safe, hydrating ingredients like broth, fruit, and coconut milk, and they’re designed to look like human mimosas — without any of the bad stuff. Cheers to that!

Important: These drinks are treats, not meal replacements. Always introduce new foods slowly, and consult your veterinarian if your dog has dietary sensitivities or health conditions.

Inspired by the classic mimosa look (and a little fizz!), this version is full of flavor and nutrients from bone broth.

Ingredients

  • Unsalted, organic bone broth (must be dog-safe — no onion or garlic)

  • A splash of orange juice (very small amount, due to natural sugars)

  • Sparkling water (optional, for fizz — use sparingly)

Directions

  1. Pour bone broth into a dog-safe glass, bowl, or fun dish.

  2. Add a very small splash of orange juice and stir gently.

  3. If desired, top with about 1 tablespoon of sparkling water for that mimosa “bubble” effect.

  4. Serve immediately and let your pup enjoy the celebration!

🦴 Tips for Serving Doggie Mocktails

  • ✔ Always use dog-safe broths (no onion, garlic, or excess sodium)

  • ✔ Keep fruit juices and honey very limited

  • ✔ Skip carbonation if your dog has a sensitive stomach

  • ✔ Serve in moderation — these are treats, not daily drinks

For extra fun, you can even freeze these into pupsicle molds for a longer-lasting treat!

🐕 Cheers to the Good Dogs
