I feel this is good grain free dry food. The ASH is high though (over 10%). My 2 ate DUCK and CHICKEN better than Rabbit. Overall it's good, but they just did not do as well as other foods. The % of fiber is low and the protein and fat are high for indoor cats. Most cats ARE indoor; so I don't understand why the companies don't do more high quality foods that have more fiber and less fat??? I prefer Fromm Surf N Turf if you are looking for a great grain free food. This is a good alternative though as Fromm can be HARD to find and the canned can be costly. Overall this is a good company and product. I just don't see as good of results as some others. Certainly better than most. I prefer Avoderm Natural (easy to get as well) for brand/company and results. I need a very shinny coat, healthy skin as i show my persians in CFA for grand premier points. This causes some Stool upset for my 2 cats. I've used 8 of the 5 lb bags for my cats. I've tried more than 3 times to feed this food; just cannot long term. My 2 liked Rabbit the least of the 3 flavors.

A good crunch food for the cats! I alternate between the cans which they are partial too, but it IS a GREAT alternative to the cans lets say if you go away for the day or want to clean their teeth! Plus it uses basically the same ingredients so no tummy upset! Plus rabbit is great for them since they catch so many! A taste they can appreciate!

The only problem is when I feed this to my cat (male, with urinary blocking problems) he won't eat his other food! He LOVES this food! I have to use it as a treat only after he eats his raw first. But this is the only dry he gets because it is raw rabbit.

I mix this food with 3 other foods, containing fish, venison, and lamb. Cat likes it just the same as other high end foods. However, the freeze dried rabbit protein is quite rare , and this is the only food I have seen containing that . Considering it is good to mix variety of meats / protein to provide adequate nutrition , this food is a must try :)
