My two sun conures took to this food right away...thought there would be a problem since they've been on another food since they were born...three years ago. I highly recommend Harrison's.

I have been feeding my birds Harrison Bird Diet for 15 years. Pellets are more nutrious than seed so I know my birds are getting all the right vitamins and mineral, plus great taste. Heartypet has great prices, lower that the other websites I have tried. Signed up for Auto refill, so I get half on my shipping. Delivery time is good too. I called customer service to ask a question and was treated great by the young woman who answered the phone. Try Heartypets. You won't reqret it.

I am sure the ingredients are high quality, but my bird is not very interested in the food. I chose High Potency Fine based on the company's recommendations. (I have a Senegal parrot, which is similar in size to a conure). I believe she would have preferred a larger pellet that she could hold and eat. So far I see no enthusiasm from her. No matter how nutritious a product may be, if the bird won't eat it, it's not worth buying

I work at a pet store and became quite attached to this one Conure. They only feed them seeds and he liked the sunflower seeds in particular. So I purchased him shortly after and his feathers are BEAUTIFUL now. I thought he was a cinnamon green cheek because of his dull colors, but now he definitely looks more like a Pineapple Conure!

Both my cockatiels were raised on seeds and my vet advised me to switch specifically to this product because of it's great reputation. They both had no problem switching and it's so much healthier than seeds. Highly recommended!

My 4 cockatiels are changing to Harrison's pellets and already, they look better and act more energetic. I lost 2 females last year at the young ages of 12 and 14. I know in my heart it was nutrition related - seed eating that took them so young. With so many rescue birds, I was unable to get everyone converted to pellets. Now with only 4 cockatiels, it is much easier to monitor. I know that I will not lose these little guys early due to bad nutrition - seeds. Takes patience and a lot of love and 'tricks' to get them to eat. I started with Harrison's Bird Builder in their water before introducing pellets. They 'crave' them now. My last rescue cockatiels was also 'ratty' feathers - and weak. He's coming along very quickly and is much happier now. Seriously, Harrison's is so fresh, no additives, sugars, preservatives. Your bird deserves to eat well, since he or she cannot be out in the wild picking the best for himself. I am sold on all of Harrison's products, including Avi-Rain for their every other day baths. They love it!!

I have rescue birds. They came to me rather ratty looking and in dull feather. After about 3-4 months, they look much better. I mix Harrison's into their seed and other food, this way they are eating nutritious food, and don't know it! Being completely organic, which is important to me, was the main reason I decided to use it. My Grey and Cockatoo will NOT pluck on my watch! Nancy
