I have two 12-yr olds from the same litter. They had started scratching a lot and kinda pulling their hair out (of course this causes licking, hairballs and upset stomachs!) One of them had a sensitive stomach anyway. I tried this food after reading it's description and decided to try it...even though it's pricey. First of all when you open the package...the anchovy, sardine smell will give you whiplash (LOL). The cats even backed away from it at first, they were Cat Chow cats. I mixed it in with their other dry food and they started eating it. They now LOVE it and let me tell you...no more thowing up, they've got the most beautiful, shiney coats, the scratching stopped and they also started playing with their toys again!! Kinda like being kittens again. I HIGHLY recommend this food. I'd always heard that the seafood type catfoods weren't good for males (bladder problems, systitus) but READ the description of this food and it will tell you the difference of Anchovy, Sardines & Salmon fishes.
