The handle is sturdy and makes it easy to "make the insect crawl" The insects which I have the Katarantula and Kragonfly move like real ones. My cats love this toy, and love chasing the swivel end the toys attach to also, just poke it under a rug and "bam" your cat will be right on it!! Great toy, wish I could buy the furry looking item too with out having to have a 3rd wand. Good purchase and was at my house in 3 days.
