My Labradoodle came to us with a dingy coat and white flakes on his skin. Besides starting him on a more nutritious food, we added Dr Harvey's Health and Shine tablets to his diet. Even at half the recommended dose of product, his coat has been beautiful ever since. Can't speak for shedding as he does not shed, but his skin doesn't flake, even when it's time for a good bath. I used to use a pin to pop a hole and squirt the tablet on his food, but now he just eats the tablets whole if I add them to his food.

It seems like this is a well loved product but I really haven't noticed a difference with my Labs shedding or Skin issues. I also disagree with the reviews that say it is easy to puncture and add to food. I find it incredibly messy. My Labs do not like that taste at all so it is always left in the bowl even when I try to bury it! I would recommend Excel Intense Shield Skin & Coat Supplement instead. Easy Pour!

To keep my dog on a balanced all raw diet I use Dr.Harveys products. I add his veg-to-bowl and Health and shine to her protein every day. Thank You Doctor harvey for making it so easy to prepare a healthy meal for my dog Abby.
