Both my cats love this food. It is helping them to lose weight, even my male cat who hasn't been able to drop any ounces with other foods I have tried has lost weight. I also love that the kibble is slightly larger, it means my cats have to slow down and chew more.

This is a fantastic line of food! A quick story... I learned a lot about these all-natural foods in the last weeks of my last fur-kid Tiger... trying to get him to eat anything. I also learned of the inability for many cats to properly process corn-based products (most of what you find in the grocery store)... which explained why he vomitted as frequently as he did. Some vets will say this is just normal for some cats. Many vets are not as quick to get on-board with natural foods and treatments. I'm somewhere in the middle myself. Vets are needed for some things... but I am open-minded to alternative foods, ideas, and such to a degree as well. And an all-natural food... like they would eat in the wild makes sense to me. Without all the corn-based filler. Well... when I rescued my latest fur-kid Jack, I started him out with Dad's Brand kitten food... something to hold him over while I did some research into the best and affordable all-natural kitten food. I ended up with Holistic Select for much of the first year of his life. A great product as well. And when it came time for an all-natural and affordable adult product... my local pet store recommended Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul. And Jack loves it. And with both foods, no vommiting... but while on that Dad's kitten food, I did have vommiting with him too. By the way... recently I wanted to get the 18-pound bag. I couldn't get it at my store. I started looking online at several e-tailers... Hearty Pet had it the cheapest... even with shipping.

All three of my cats LOVE this food! Each had their own affliction- one had hairballs, one was very overweight, and one had excess gas. No more hairballs, gas, and our overweight kitty is more active and losing weight. And we feel better knowing we are feeding them a healthy food.
