Orijen Puppy Food is now an 80/20 formula! Meaning that 80% of each bag is meat and 20% is other essential ingredients. Orijen has still kept all their core concepts of Grain free, high quality natural ingredients and only using free range proteins. This new formula is an overall improvement to the old (70/30) formula. The first 5 ingredients are now fresh (never frozen) meats, perfect proportions of nutrients and the over-all taste and digestibility is improved. This formula is packed with essential proteins and fats that will help your new best friend grow into a healthy adult!

Orijen products are made in small batches from ingredients that are natural and about half of the ingredients arrive fresh each day. Orijen does not use chemical preservatives or artificial coloring. The amount of fresh meat that is used, give the kibble a unique shape, smell and color. There are added protein sources to each formula to give more taste and nutrients to the formulas. Fresh meats are low in calcium and phosphorus, which helps make each formula balanced.

My dog's breeder uses this, and we raised both of our dogs on it. Our dogs have great coats and love it. We add some fresh meat every day and they finish every bite of the dry food, too. You don't need to feeds much of this as you do other foods that are full of fillers.

I have a pure white, 2lb, 5 month old, Morkie(maltese/yorkie mix). We were having problems with staining around her mouth, feet, and HORRIBLE tear stains. She was also constipated one day and then had toothpaste texture poo the next on her old dog food.(diamond puppy). After a lot of research I decided to try Orijen Puppy. AMAZING!! NO MORE SALIVA OR TEAR STAINS!! I can not tell you how much better she looks! her coat is even softer! as for her bowls, they are a nice, round, and firm. She seems much happier and is a lot more active on this food than on her old food. I was worried about the price at first, but with these results i would pay more! I think ANYONE who owns a white dog and is having problems with the staining should give it a try! There is no fillers or Tomato Pumace, which is believed to cause staining in Maltese dogs. I would give 10 stars if i could!!

Since putting our Lab on Orijen, his hair is much more supple and bright. It makes sense to feed the descendant of a wolf something that resembles what they eat in he wild, and Orijen supplies that.

Do your research then buy this product. Just check out the ingreadient list. THis is the best food you can buy for your pet. The junk at pet smart is full of grain and filler. - Never listen to your Vet - They will sell you Science Diet with is pure junk. The only reason why they push it is because of the money they give to Vet Schools. Thank you Orijen for making such a great product.
