Our cat gets 1/2 a can of this in the morning and we keep Verus dry out in a bowl for her as well which she picks at throughout the day. I refill the bowl maybe 1-2 times a week. She usually eats the 1/2 can of in two sittings about an hour or two apart and then eats the dry later in the day. She also enjoys when I mix in some dry for her.

I give a 2 star rating because all is not revealed with this food. The ingredient list looks good but what isn't disclosed is how much the cat needs to eat. My cats love the taste of this food but they always were hungry and I'm opening up many cans to satisfy them. I looked on the label, and the feeding guidelines say 1 ounce of food per pound of weight. That makes this food ultra expensive! I thought I was getting a good food at a decent price but it is turning out to be very very expensive to feed. Had I known the feeding guidelines of 1 ounce per pound of cat's weight, I'd have never bought this food. I have 4 cats, all at around 12 pounds, one of them more than that. That is at leaswt 2 cans of food per cat a day. I'm using a case of food every one and a half days! That is $8 a day! So while the ingredient list looks good, this food is watery, the cats are always hungry, and the label itself says 1 ounce of food per pound of weight. I do not recommend this food unless you have an unlimited bankroll.

My kitties love VeRUS, both canned and dry. Very high quality, nice texture, and pleasant smell. My vet recommends it, and so do my cats. :-)
