I&#39m a big fan of adding a Tbs of raw pumpkin for sensitive tummies when changing foods. Magically, pumpkin firms up loose stools as well as ease constipation.... nature&#39s miracle.

Due to issues with Natural Choice Large Breed Lamb Meal & Rice (not manufacturing presently), my poor 90 lb. Rhodesian Ridgeback has been through a rough time. The regular Lamb & Rice has caused diarrhea and adding additional rice on my part has caused irregularity. I read reports online in addition to visiting owners of pet stores to determine which direction I should go. After much research, California Natural Herring & Sweet Potatoes was recommended. It was love at first bite for Spirit and I gradually started with 1/4 cup to 1 full cup plus mixing the old food within a mere 2 days. The diarrhea has subsided and there are no side effects. All I can say is that I am impressed with California Natural and will not be returning to Natural Choice ever! I just cannot feel any loyalty or credibility for a company that has told retailers (PetSmart & Petsupermarket) that there is a shortage of rice which is the problem they cannot manufacture the large breed lamb & rice dog food but has personally told me when I called that it was an equipment problem. Despite the problems this has caused, I feel that we have upgraded to a much more healthy and reliable product.
