Butterscotch Brownies/ The Best Ever!

These are not your typical brownies.

1/2 cup butter

2 cups packed dark brown sugar

2 tsp vanilla

2 eggs lightly beaten

1 cup flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Cream butter and sugar

Add eggs and vanilla

Add sifted flour,BP and salt

Add optional pecans

Bake 350 degrees for 35 to 40 min.

Do not over bake.  (they will be soft and appear under done but that’s ok.  Let them sit to cool before cutting)

These are “the best chewiest” brownies you will ever eat.
