Chicken Alfredo w/Pasta

1/4 cup butter

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup milk (or cream)

1/4 tspn salt and pepper

4 tbsp sour cream

1/2 onion chopped sauteed

3 cloves garlic minced sauteed

Steamed cut up asparagus – amt to your liking (substitute broccoli, froze peas, etc)

1 or 2  1/2 boneless chicken breast cubed and floured – sauteed till brown

2-3 strips cooked crisp bacon, chopped

Pasta of your choice – I use angle hair

Heat butter milk and Parmesan in a sauce pan, stir till melted and blended

Add sauteed onion and garlic

Add sour cream

Add chicken and asparagus and chopped bacon to cheese sauce

Pour sauce over cooked pasta.

Optional :  fresh basil and parsley

Serve with crusty bread and salad
