This is one of the best cheese cakes I have ever eaten.
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
3 tbs sugar
3 tbs butter, melted
3 8oz packs of cream cheese
1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
2 tbs flour
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup pecan halves
Maple syrup (NY or Vermont brand)
Mix graham cracker crumbs with sugar and melted butter and line a spring form cheese cake pan. Bake this for 10 min. at 350 degrees and set aside.
In an electric mixer add remaining ingredients until well blended.
Pour into crust in spring form pan and bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.
When cooled and ready to serve place pecan halves around top of cheese cake.
Pour good quality maple syrup over the top, slice and serve.
