Saving Money At Canine Health Clinics

There are many breed specific clubs that host “all breed” health clinics to help members and non members save money on health screening/testing and vaccinations.

Please note: I do not recommend taking new pups to health clinics.  There is too much risk of exposure prior to final series of puppy vaccinations.

Below is a list of what most clubs will offer:

Vaccines:

Rabies  (1 year or 3 year)

Core  DA2PP (DH2PP)

Lyme

Bordetella – Kennel Cough

Lepto

Health Testing:

Snap 4 – Heartworm/Lyme/Ehrlichia/Anaplasmosis

Wellness Profile – Full Blood Work

Senior Profile

Titer Testing

Thyroid Panel

Fecal Test

Urinalysis

Health Screening:

CERF

Cardiac – Ausculation and/or Echocardiogram

Optigen (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)

EIC (Exercise Indused Collapse)

OFA Hips and Elbows

Brucella
